Taking on a "Scavenger Hunt" with my "Co-pilot"

Earlier this year, a super unique opportunity came up. It was essentially a scavenger hunt around my home town that I would complete with my furry best friend. It officially started in May and ended in August.

The goal? To hit as many locations as possible on the map and complete as many tasks as possible to earn points.

I thought really hard about who I thought I should bring on this journey I signed up for. Who has the best manners in public and who could handle a little hiking?

I chose my Pomeranian Reign and I asked my husband to join us and bring Rio. For those times he was working, I asked my friends to join me.

We visited Farragut State Park, Riverside State Park, Coeur d'alene Lake and many more parks. We climbed the Rocks of Sharon and Quartz Lookout on Mount Spokane.

Were we able to complete all the tasks? Sadly, no. There were some tasks that would have my freshly groomed Pomeranian going for a swim, and I ... 🤣 well.. I wasn't messing up her beautiful coat for some points.

Did we enjoy ourselves? Most of the time, lol. Just kidding, we saw and conquered some amazing things during this quest. We hiked trails we never knew existed.

Did we earn enough points for a prize... 😬 no, but we got close.

Was it worth it? Absolutely! We have places on our lists that we want to revisit and I can't wait for that.

Here are some photos from our adventures!
